As we wrap up 2022, we have reached many milestones and accomplished many things for DEMIblue Clean and Vegan Nail Polish Brand. To reflect on all the great vendor events, the supportive vegan and clean nail polish community, and all of our Nailfriends new and old, here are some of the amazing things DEMiblue has done this past year.
June 1: Product Industry “Wine Down”
Our founder, Michelle Robinson, hosted and joined a panel of other STL business owners to discuss entering retail spaces as a small business. August 29: First Ever Black Owned Nail Polish Brands elookbook
As a special wrap-up for Black Business month, DEMiblue joined other talented and wonderful black-owned nail polish brands in an elookbook. Thanks to everyone who worked to put the book together and to the community formed in the process! Link to the book is coming soon!
September 10: Name that Color!
A focus group event unique to DEMIblue, we invited women to name our next nail polish collection. With guest speakers, giveaways, free nail polish, and more, we thank you for being our Nailfriends! Stay tuned for the results of this event in the spring!
October: #demibluecares
Our October initiative to honor breast cancer survivors launched the entire month of October. In honor of our founder’s mother who survived breast cancer, our Juliet box was available online. A portion of the proceeds was donated to community organizations focused on the fight against breast cancer. The accompanying social media campaign for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness, #demibluecares, allowed us to honor deserving and amazing breast cancer survivors nominated by YOU.
November 26: BET Soul Train Music Awards
DEMIblue Natural Nails headed off to Las Vegas for the BET Soul Train Music Awards!! We were so excited to be a part of the celebrity gift bag package. With over 70 celebrities in attendance, this was truly the opportunity of a lifetime! Thank you to everyone who made it possible! Check out more here.
December 18: Power 100 Gala
Founder Michelle Robinson was nominated to be part of the Power 100 list of the 100 most inspiring and influential leaders in St. Louis. Such an honor for DEMIblue and our hardworking owner/founder. Special shoutout to all our Nailfriends for nominating Michelle! Check out the event here.
